Best 2 in 1 Pram Stroller
The TAVO Next glides effortlessly over the majority of terrains due to its leatherette handle. It's not the lightest stroller we've ever had however it's much easier to lift up and down than our competitors.
The Cybex Gazelle moves like a gazelle, even when it's loaded down with up to three kids and food. The only downside is that it doesn't come with an additional seat or a kid board for families with growing children.
1. TAVO Next
The TAVO Next is a budget stroller that can be used by children as heavy as 50 pounds. It's super spacious, and the seat reclines very easily and lays flat. It's easy to shut and open and comes with an large canopy that has a peek-a-boo venting and a peek-aboo window. In 2021, Nuna gave the TAVO an updated harness with Magnetech Secure Snap, which allows for a simple and secure way to secure with one hand.
While the TAVO is a great choice for parents who want to save money, it's not the best choice when you're looking to use a bassinet or a reversible child seat. It can only be used in only one way, and it doesn't have the capacity to allow for a car seat or other accessories such as the bassinet stand and cup holder, rain cover or a tray for snacks for children. If you're looking to add something more than the MIXX Next is a better option because it can accommodate all of these things.
You can travel far or near and transfer baby from the car to the curb with the TAVO's built-in Free-flex suspension for a smooth ride. The spacious, luxurious seat lets baby relax and drift off into a world of dreams. Parents can also enjoy the small fold-away axle as well as MagneTech Secure Snap.
The TAVO is easy to fold and stands upright in folded position, saving space for tight spaces like garages, closets or trunks. It is also easy to maneuver and comes with a handy basket for storage, as well as brakes that can be used in flip-flops. It can be connected to the Nuna PIPA series of car seats quickly, with no adapters needed for a sleek travel set.
2. UPPAbaby Vista v2
The UPPAbaby V2 is our top-rated full-size stroller. It is a great choice for families with growing babies, as it can work with a bassinet, infant car seat, and toddler seats. This stroller is versatile enough to accommodate a riding board and transform it into triple strollers.
The seats that are cushioned in this stroller are designed for comfort. The recline is simple to use and has four positions that make it adjustable to meet the child's needs. The foot rest is also adjustable to give passengers the most comfortable ride. The canopy is massive, which is a big bonus for parents looking to shield their children from the sun. It is SPF 50+ rated and has a pop-out sun visor, two mesh peek-aboo windows and a flap cover.
Another great feature of the UPPAbaby Vista V2 is that its fabric can be washed in the machine. This is important as it will help extend the life of your buggy, to ensure that you can use it for a long time. It is also simpler to clean up spills such as juice or food spills, rather than having to scrub off stubborn stains.
The new tires from UPPAbaby are bigger and softer than the old models, which means a smoother ride. They can handle rough terrain and reduce vibrations while rolling through town. The brakes are single-action and easy to use, using a small color-coded pedal that's compatible with all kinds of footwear.
This stroller is the most expensive one in our review. However, it is worth it if you're looking for a stroller that can last many years. Visit Amazon for more information about the UPPAbaby vista V2.
3. Cybex Gazelle
The Cybex Gazelle is a great choice for parents who want a stroller to grow with their family. It is a "modular" stroller or "convertible" stroller and can be configured in more than 20 ways to accommodate various seats, infant car seats, cots and cradles.
2 in 1 stroller with car seat love that the Cybex Gazelle is lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it perfect for parents who love to explore. It also comes with a large storage basket beneath and a variety of attachments to allow parents to carry light shopping or groceries with them. It's a little more expensive than some other 2 in 1 prams but it's well worth the purchase because of the quality and function of this model is top-quality.
This stroller has a one-pull harness to make securing your child in the seat easy. It also includes sun canopy with XXL panels that can be removed and peek-aboo windows. It also has a convenient tray for parents to keep snacks, drinks, and phone. The telescopic handlebar adjusts to accommodate the height of parents, and the brake is easy to access, making it safe for children to operate.
Our mom tester Sophie from London used the stroller with two daughters aged 5 and 10 months. She found it very easy to maneuver and smooth on streets with cobbles, even when the ground was slick. The large shopping basket as well as well-designed footrests made her feel comfortable. She also liked the fact that the hood and handlebar fabric were machine washable which is important for busy parents!
4. Joovy Twin Roo+
A simple frame stroller, the Twin Roo+ offers car seat click-in functionality and a large storage bin. It's one of the most lightweight twin strollers available. It weighs 24 pounds without attachments for infant car seats, which is light for a double stroller. It is slightly heavier than both the UPPAbaby v2 double and the Thule Urban Glide 2 double.
The Roo+ is simple to use and comes with a handy quick-start guide. It is easy to put together and takes less than 10 minutes to become road-ready. It doesn't come with a canopy built-in therefore your children will have to wear their own sunshades if they need extra coverage from the elements.
In our tests and testing, we discovered the Roo+ to maneuver well for a dual stroller. It is able to navigate through most types of terrain, but it can be difficult on grassy areas and over gravel. It isn't easy to navigate over and up curbs that are 1 inch high. This stroller is not recommended to use on the stairs or off-road. However, its suspension system will help to minimize bumps.
The Roo+ has a large storage bin under the seat, but it's difficult to access without removing infant car seats. This is a common issue with twin frame strollers. However, stroller 2 in 1 car seat does offer a separate baby carrier bag under the seat to assist with this issue.
The Roo+ doesn't have a self-standing fold or cup holders. It's a small price to pay for car seat compatibility and storage but we would prefer to have a stroller that has more flexibility. The stroller's flexibility in seating configuration is a big plus. Parents can place their infant car seats in either opposite directions or in the same direction, depending on their preferences.
5. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
The Delta Children LX Side by Side earned an outstanding score both for weight and folded size, making it the best value in our double umbrella stroller review. It also scores well on maneuverability, an essential quality for parents who are looking for an umbrella stroller that can fit in small spaces. The Delta is a basic product and does not have the features other strollers we tried offer like a large storage basket or a deep recline. It is a great option for families on a limited budget or for those who only require a second stroller for occasional use such as for a trip to the Zoo.
The LX Side-by-Side is a lightweight and compact stroller. It is simple to turn and push. Its comparatively short frame with swivel front wheels, swivel rear wheels and padded shoulder pads provide a smooth ride for your kids. The multi-position reclining seats as well as cup holders for parents ensure that passengers are comfortable.
It also has a huge European-style canopy which provides shade from the sun as well as some protection against light wind. It also comes with two storage bags as well as a five-point harness to ensure security.
The Delta was constructed in less than three minutes, which is the fastest time of all the test groups. The manual is not very good and the assembly does not require tools. It is among our lighter products, and it folds flat, making it easy to lift and transport. In our Strollers & Multiples testing, we rate how smoothly and easily the product moves and turns to open and close the safety harness and adjusts the brakes, opens and closes the storage basket and installs and removes an infant car seat.
